Timmins Undertaking Culture, Tourism & Recreation Master Plan

Timmins is undertaking the development of an integrated Culture, Tourism and Recreation Master Plan (CTRMP) as it moves forward with its Timmins 2020 Strategic Plan priorities.

Timmins is undertaking the development of an integrated Culture, Tourism and Recreation Master Plan (CTRMP) as it moves forward with its Timmins 2020  Strategic Plan priorities. The CTRMP will provide a comprehensive framework for the long-term development, enhancement and sustainability of Timmins’ cultural, tourism and recreational assets which together are the foundation for community vibrancy, social well-being and local economic development.

Two online surveys are now available for public input to assist in identifying the range of issues and future directions which have the potential to enhance the experience of living, working and visiting Timmins. The online surveys for Culture and Recreation and a separate survey for Tourism can be completed by visiting the following links:

About the Project

Sierra Planning and Management in association with PKF Consulting Inc. has been retained by the City of Timmins to develop the Culture, Tourism and Recreation Master Plan. The CTRMP process commenced in June 2013 and will be completed by January 2014. In addition to the online survey, the study team will be conducting public meetings in late September to further identify desired outcomes for the Plan.
