It was an evening to remember for a guy who wanted to go out and get a bite to eat.
Approx 9:45pm a truck on Algonquin Blvd at Spruce was in the right lane was heading east. A Timmins Transit bus, ahead of the truck, was also in the right lane but turned to the left lane to make the corner as it was heading to the transit depot on Spruce.
The truck appeared unaware that the bus would make a right turn as the driver pulled beside the bus. The truck at the last second veered to the sidewalk to avoid a collision however was unsuccessful according to an eye witness.
No one was hurt in either the truck nor the bus. Timmins Police responded to the accident.
