A search warrant executed at a local residence led to the seizure of a significant amount of cocaine and methamphetamine tablets. A Timmins man faces several charges.

As a result of an investigation by the Timmins Police Service’s Drug Enforcement Unit, police seized 262.1 grams of cocaine, with a potential street value of $26,261. Police also seized 40 methamphetamine tablets, and over $10,000 in Canadian currency.

Aurele CHARBONNEAU, 35, of Timmins faces charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

Charbonneau has been released on a Promise to Appear in court. His next court date is March 4, 2014.
