Throughout the course of the day on June 22, 2015, Timmins Police has received multiple reports of break and enters being committed on vehicles in the city.
Many of these break and enters are being committed on locked vehicles, possibly by using an electronic device to bypass the vehicle’s locking system.
There has been no indication of a particular area being targeted, however the break and enters have been occurring primarily in the North and South ends of Timmins.
Police are advising residents to remove all valuables from their vehicles, including electronics, cash, wallets, and identification.
Anyone with information on these vehicle break & enters, or noticing any suspicious activity is asked to contact the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201.
