Timmins council is at the table for its last regular meeting of the year.

The meeting is tonight (Dec. 10) at 6 p.m. in council chambers at city hall.

Here are some items to keep an eye on:

• The Youth Wellness Hub is giving a presentation, which includes an ask for $80,000 annually for at least three years. The hub, which gives youth ages 12 to 25 years spaces to get together for activities and to access resources and services, launched in September 2018. Last year, council supported the hub with an $80,000 grant. This week's presentation notes the program needs sustainable funding and is looking for an annual commitment from the city. The full presentation is available here

• Phase two of a multi-year project to allow snowmobiles to access some city streets is on the agenda. The Timmins Snowmobile Club is slated to give a presentation on the second year of the initiative, which would open up streets in Timmins north and south. Read the full presentation and see what streets would be affected here.

• Council will be hearing an update on the Whitney Tisdale lift station. A two-phased project to remediate the sanitary sewer system servicing Porcupine and South Porcupine is underway. At pumping station 4, the report shows it's 61 per cent complete and expected to be finished in September 2020. Phase two (upgrades to the remaining five pumping station) is 70 per cent done and expected to be done in February 2020. Read the full update here

• With the 2020 budget deliberations underway, Timmins Chamber of Commerce board president Val Venneri is talking to council about its members' priorities. The full presentation is available here
