Timmins, ON: Canada Day is a great time of celebration in the City of Timmins.
The Timmins Convention Bureau and Visitor Welcome Centre has compiled a list of activities held the weekend before Canada Day and up to the fireworks hosted by the City of Timmins on Tuesday July 1, 11pm. There will be a street closure starting 10PM.Some of the great activities to consider include:

You will be provided with an opportunity to participate in our daily feeding of moose, elk, bison and deer. The tour leaves at 3 p.m. and 7 p. m. sharp daily, and tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis. You will ride in an open concept wagon pulled behind a tractor, which will bring you through the wilderness park to view and feed the various animals. If you have never seen a moose, elk, bison or deer up close, this is your opportunity of a lifetime to do so. We look forward in seeing you.

Timmins Museum: NEC will be hosting Canada Day activities for the whole family. Tuesday, July 1st 2014 from 11 to 4pm. BBQ, activities, music, snow cones and much more! Free admission.

Join Karl Habla for his annual patriotic Canada Day walk to Schumacher’s Flag Park. 11am from City Hall
End the day in Schumacher at Pearl Lake for a fireworks extravaganza. Sponsored by the City of Timmins, the fireworks display is scheduled to be launched at 11pm from the McIntyre head frame.
