Timmins Blood Donor Clinic
Event Description: Canadian Blood Services is asking Timmins and area residents to consider donating blood to help ensure an adequate supply for Canadian hospital patients in need. The next clinic takes place at the Paroisse St. Dominique Hall, 720 Park Ave., on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 4-8 p.m. and also on Thursday, Oct. 24 from noon-2:30 p.m. and from 4-6:30 p.m. The need for blood in Canada is constant and the fact remains that hospital patients everywhere need blood. Hospitals continue to draw on the supply of blood as Canadian patients require treatment regardless of the time of year, as they undergo treatment for cancer, surgery, car accidents and hundreds of other medical situations.
