At approximately 1:30 p.m. on November 25, a Timmins Police officer was flagged down by a passing motorist with a traffic complaint.
A vehicle was subsequently stopped in the rear parking lot of a local high school. As a result of the traffic stop, police seized over 50 grams of marijuana.
Three youths, aged 14, 16, and 17, all of Timmins, face charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
All three were released on a Promise to Appear in court.
Pursuant to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the names of the youths involved cannot be published.
