Three break and enter incidents reported in Iroquois Falls

IROQUOIS FALLS - Within the last two weeks the Iroquois Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have investigated three break and enters occurrences in Iroquois Falls, Ont. Similar items were taken which include electronics, jewellery and cash.

Things to consider when leaving your home:

  • Lock your doors and secure any open windows prior to retiring for the evening
  • Record the contents of your home or cottage on paper or using a video camera
  • Record serial number of your property
  • Establish relationships with neighbours and check on each other's property when away
  • Lock and secure your property outside buildings
  • Invest in an alarm system
  • Avoid posting on social media when you are away from your residence

The investigations are on-going and any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
