The event is popular for both participants and spectators.

This year’s contestants had the chance to win prizes from Best Buy (formerly Future Shop), Nerd Block, Jump City Comics and Collectibles, NEO Laser Tag and Timmins Cinema 6.

Contestants of all skills were welcomed to walk the stage and impress the panel of judges with their costumes.

This year’s judges comprised of Guest of Honor Kris Holden-Ried, Cosplay guest Pretty Wreck Cosplay, Lori’s Sewing Place owner Lori Schwehr and Party Place owner Alisa Brooks.

It was no easy decision this year as 30 participants took to the stage to impress the judges and crowd.
