People young and old looking for a thrill or to try their luck at a game took in the first night of Beauce Carnaval in Timmins.
The summer tradition is set up in the parking lot at the McIntyre Arena through until Sunday, July 14.
This year's set up includes rides for all ages, along with games, and carnival foods.
It runs Thursday, July 11 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, July 12 from 1 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Saturday, July 13 from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Sunday, July 14 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
