Sunsprout recalls some micro-greens in Ontario

Sunsprout is recalling alfalfa & radish micro-greens from retail outlets and warning the public not to consume them in Ontario because they may be contaminated with Salmonella, says the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

100g packages bearing the UPC 0 57621 13512 3 and code BBAUG11 are affected by the recall issued Tuesday.

The CFIA is warning the public not to consume and retailers, restaurants, and institutions not to sell or use the product.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
