Students get hands-on lesson in forensics (10 photos)

They learned how to process a scene

An afternoon English class turned into a mock crime scene for students in South Porcupine today.

A Grade 7 class at Roland Michener Public School processed and learned about forensics from Timmins Police Const. Erin Halt.

Volunteers from the class took part in all stages of the investigation, from getting shoe prints, packing evidence, dusting for fingerprints, and collecting DNA.
