St. Mary’s Gardens will be hosting an open house event on Wednesday, June 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. “It’s a great opportunity for seniors and their children to check out what a full service residence looks like and what kind of services and activities are available,” said Micheline Fleury, administrator at St. Mary’s Gardens.
The Open House will feature entertainment in the pub, a snack buffet, a tour of the residence and the chance to win two eight-day passes to Stars and Thunder. Visitors can also check out St. Mary’s Gardens model suites.
St. Mary’s Gardens is located at 225 Fifth Ave., Timmins. Parking lot is accessible via Pine North. Overflow parking will be available at the 101 Business Complex.
“It’s important for seniors to get the feeling of a residence to see whether or not it’s a good fit for them as they look for an environment that can meet their changing needs,” said Fleury. “This gives them an opportunity to just drop in and have some fun at the same time.”
