Snow squall watch in effect for:
- Little Abitibi - Kesagami Lake
- Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls
- Kapuskasing - Hearst - Smooth Rock Falls
A snow squall is expected this afternoon along a sharp cold front.
Brief, but heavy snow and blowing snow is expected as this cold front passes southeastward through the area. The cold front is expected to be over Kapuskasing near noon and reach Chapleau and Timmins near 4 p.m. EST.
Snowfall accumulations up to 5 centimetres are possible by the time the cold front passes.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.
