On Jan. 28 at 9:30 a.m., St. Mary’s Gardens Seniors Speakers Series will explore will and estate planning, and financial planning for seniors.

“Will and estate planning and financial planning can be fairly emotional,” said Micheline Boutin, administrator at St. Mary’s Gardens. “It’s important that seniors have the information they need to make informed decisions.”

Sarah Stewart from Gosselin Law Firm Professional Corporation will explain Powers of Attorney and wills and discuss what happens if you do not have a will.

Jason Gervais from Timmins Financial will speak about the importance of financial planning.

Seniors, family members, and caregivers are invited to attend. Admission is free. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited.

People wishing to attend can RSVP to Dawna Carrier, St. Mary’s Gardens community relations coordinator, at [email protected] or (705) 267-5000, ext. 8006.

St. Mary’s Gardens is located on Pine Street North across from the 101 Mall.

St. Mary’s Gardens speakers’ series features different speakers every three to four weeks, covering a variety of topics from finance and estate planning to fraud prevention and health.
