Santa Claus parade rolls through downtown Timmins

People line streets to catch a glimpse of Saint Nick

People lined the streets of downtown Timmins for the 2017 Santa Claus Parade.

With more than 50 entries, organizers say this is one of the biggest parades they've had. This year's theme was Christmas Around the World.

Local dance groups, bands, businesses and community groups warmed up the crowd with candy and plenty of smiles before the highlight of the parade - Santa Claus – rolled through the streets.
