Samurai sword, guitars and more stolen during break-in

The Timmins Police Service has completed its investigation into a residential break-in at a Cody Avenue home which was discovered by the home owner on Aug. 30.

Based on the investigative findings, a search warrant was executed by the Timmins Police Service later that same day at a Way Avenue apartment.

The Timmins Police Service recovered the following stolen items: a 65” wide screen TV, two guitars, a guitar stand, a Samurai sword, and a pair of running shoes.

The Timmins Police have arrested a 19-year-old female person from Timmins in relations to this event.

She has been charged with:

  • One count of Break and Enter contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

  • One count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused has been released from custody on a Promise to Appear requiring that she attend Provincial Court on Oct. 25 to answer to the charges laid against her.
