The community of South Porcupine remembers.
Several hundred people gathered at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 287 for the annual Remembrance Day ceremonies.
Participants and onlookers were not deterred by -17 C temperatures.
A parade marched through South Porcupine, starting and ending at the Legion. The Last Post was played, followed by wreath laying ceremonies and a closing prayer.
A public Remembrance Day ceremony was also held this morning at the Timmins Cenotaph.
