A popular summer reading program is back.

Kids and families can join the 2020 TD Summer Reading Club at the Timmins Public Library.

The free online club launches June 29 and is for children between the ages of three and 13 years.

The annual program celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories. People can follow along with the programs, activities, storytimes, weekly challenges and more on Facebook until Aug. 21.

Each week has a different theme.

This year's themes are game on, board games, sports, brain games, Olympics, outdoor games, and dance.

To take part, register at tdsummerreadingclub.ca then track your reading with an online notebook.

The Timmins Public Library is currently offering curbside pickup for books at both branches. If you need help choosing books, staff are available to help by emailing [email protected] or calling 705-360-2623. You can also access eBooks and eAudiobooks on Overdrive/Libby, Hoopla, or Tumble Books with your library card.
