According to Hydro One, the power restoration time is now 6 p.m.

According to Hydro One, there are still 718 customers without power. The estimated time for restoration is Wednesday, July 29 at 5 p.m.

The company says the reason for the interruption is downed lines and crews are on site for repairs.

ORIGINAL STORY

A power outage is affecting 1,250 customers west of Timmins, according to Hydro One.

The outage happened around 5:45 p.m. The reason is unknown at this time and Hydro One says crews are en route to patrol. The estimated time for restoration is 8:45 p.m.

The areas affected are Mattagami, Noble, Hillary, Garibaldi, Keefer, Ivanhoe, Foleyet, Gogame, Asquith, Garvey, Jack, Mattagami First Nation and Sewell.
