North East Tri-Board Student Transportation has announced this morning that school buses are cancelled in Timmins, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, and Matheson.
According to First Student Canada - Timmins Branch, the cancellations are due to poor road conditions.
For District School Board Ontario North East students in Grades 9 to 12, there is virtual learning on snow days. Schools are open for secondary students in high support programs for in-person learning.
Schools are open for students in kindergarten to Grade 8.
The North East Tri-Board Student Transportation provides services for District School Board Ontario North East, the Northeastern Catholic District School Board, and Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario.
