TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE

*************************
In keeping with its commitment to quality service delivery, the Timmins Police Service, at the direction of the Timmins Police Services Board, has prepared a survey to collect valuable information in regards to future service delivery priorities.

In order to set goals and devote appropriate policing resources towards areas of concern to be identified in the Timmins Police Service 3 Year Plan, a comprehensive analysis of opinions is required.

An identified manner to efficiently collect this information is by means of a survey. With this in mind, the Timmins Police efficiency survey can be found by clicking on this link.

Hard copies of the survey will also be made available at the front desk at the Timmins Police station located at 185 Spruce Street South in Timmins.

The results of this survey will help the Timmins Police Service Board set priorities and effectively take the pulse of the recipients of this city’s policing services.

By identifying areas of concern, the Timmins Police Service Board can better develop responses and tailor the manner in which the Timmins Police Service devotes its physical resources and manpower to better serve the city of Timmins and surrounding area.

The more enthusiastic the response, the better the Timmins Police can maintain a level of credible and responsible policing and adapt to expectations of its citizens.

As such, the Timmins Police Services Board is appealing to all citizens to take the brief survey by whatever means suits their circumstance and provide the information that will help shape the manner in which the Timmins Police Service continues to conduct business.

This survey will form part of a study that will include “town hall” meetings that have the same goal of obtaining information and opinion from citizens, business owners and guests to the city.

The launch for the survey has been set for today, Mar. 24, 2017, with an anticipated closing date of Apr. 10, 2017.
