Police seek to identify robbery suspects

MOOSONEE - Members of the Moosonee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating an attempted robbery which occurred on March 15, 2018, at a residence located on Seventh Street, in the Town of Moosonee, Ontario.

At around 9:42 p.m., three masked males entered the residence and intimidated the occupant. The occupant was able to run away from the males and did not sustain any major injuries. The three individuals left the residence in an unknown direction of travel.

The first male is described to be approximately 6' tall, with a thin build and a very thick accent. He was dressed in black including a black touque with a black or blue bandana over his face.

The second and third males are approximately the same height and build as the first suspect. One has fair white skin and was wearing a bandana over his face. The other was wearing a black neck warmer over his face. All there suspects are believe to be Aboriginal.

The OPP is requesting the public's assistance to identify the suspects. Any person with information regarding this crime should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
