The Timmins Police Service is completing its investigation into a break-in that occurred overnight and was reported to the police early this morning.
The break-in at the local A&W restaurant on Algonquin Blvd occurred at some point between the hours of 10 p.m. last night and early this morning.
Thieves forcibly gained entry by damaging a window of the restaurant.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
The matter remains under investigation by the Timmins Police Service – Criminal Investigations Division.
Officers with the Timmins Police – Forensic Identification Unit completed a thorough examination of the crime scene to collect all pertinent evidence left behind by the thieves.
