Pink Ribbon Suite Promotion ? to benefit The Breast Wellness Centre at the Timmins & District Hospital The Holiday Inn Express in Timmins is holding it?s second annual ?Pink Ribbon Suite? Campaign.?
?
The campaign transforms one of the Jacuzzi suites into a pink wonderland and this year, many more custom-made products have been added to envelope the guest in pink. The rental fee for the room is not heightened in any way however a portion of the rental fee goes directly to the Breast Wellness Centre at the Timmins & District Hospital. Last year, the endeavor raised over $850 and this year, we are hoping to raise even more.?

The king size bed boasts king sized pink pillows, accent pillows and a pink bed skirt, hand-made by the Executive housekeeper?s mom.

This was with the assistance of Fabricland, whom also assisted in 2013 with the fabric to make the custom ?pink ribbon? throw, courtesy of Lori?s Sewing Place.?

The guest is also treated to a gorgeous, oversized soft gingersnap cookie donated by Vicki D?Amour?s Specialty Cakes and a generous pink-themed gift bag from Shopper?s Drug Mart (655 and Texas Gold Road).?

The Holiday Inn Express Timmins also donated two gift certificates for a stay in one of our suites to the John P. Larche Classic Golf Tournament in August 15 and 16 where proceeds also went to the Breast Wellness Centre at TDH.?

All staff are proud to be part of this endeavor as they sport either a pink ribbon on their nametags, and some in pink uniforms.
