A: I am living here in Timmins from past 4 months as I came here in September intake for my studies in Northern College.

Q: What program are you taking at Northern College and what made you choose that program?

A: I have taken program regarding business which is known as a business general and I have taken this program because in India also I have done my higher school education in commerce stream from Army Public School, so to continue my passion I selected this course for me and for my future.

Q: Tell us about your hometown in India. What are some of the biggest differences between there and here?

A: I came from Ferozepur which is in very famous state of India known as Punjab as mostly Indians are from there. I miss my hometown very much because the people and food which I was getting in my hometown of my own culture are missing from here. Not only this one and biggest need is that I am not having my parents here I miss them a lot. Second thing climatic conditions are also very different here in Timmins as compared to my hometown. In my hometown in winters I was usually facing 1 or 2 degrees where as now in Timmins it is like -30.

Q: What are some of your favourite local things to do and places to visit in Timmins?

A: The main places which I like to visit are my college where I spend 2/3 time of my day and after that love to visit Timmins Square because that refreshes the mind and by that visit we get chance to do little bit of shopping also which is very good. Moreover Gillies Lake is the best gift to Timmins by nature which I love to visit.

Q: If you had to describe Timmins to someone back home in just a few words, what would you say?

A: I will say that people in Timmins are very friendly and helpful. The bus service was just awesome always on time and Timmins is the city which has given me opportunity to fly in the sky to get success that’s all which I will say for Timmins .

Q: Okay, time for a few fun, rapid fire questions. What's your favourite hot beverage: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, or something else?

A: Like all Indians I also love to have tea as my hot beverage in every morning .

Q: On a scale of one to 10, with 10 being the most, how neat would you say you are?

A: I will give myself eight. That I am giving because I am having some problems like I lose my confidence when I face any failure and I am having little bit childish thinking due to which sometimes I take decision in very less time which creates problems for me in future.

Q: If you were to become world famous for something, what would it to be?

A: If I got this chance I would like to serve the humanity like the Khalsa Aid is doing under the leadership of Sardar Ravi Singh because that person is my idol and he is doing his best right now. They helped many Indians those who were victims of floods in Kerala. They are doing million of dollars of donations all free. So would like to be famous like him if I got chance.
