Giant Board Games

Monday, Oct. 22, 10 – 8 p.m.

Timmins Public Library

Enjoy the P.A. Day at the library and have fun with the giant board games.

Pasta With a Purpose

Wednesday, Oct. 24, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

TH&VS cafeteria

A fundraising dinner for Braedyn Johnstone. Tickets are $10 each and include a serving of pasta and dinner roll. Drinks and dessert are extra. Tickets are available at Protackle in Schumacher, TH&VS, from members of the Timmins Boxing Club and at the door. Proceeds will help the family with travel and other expenses they will incur for cancer treatments.

The Working Class

A night of live music from local musicians in support of Noah Charbonneau, a seven-year-old boy with kidney disease. Tickets are $5. Cindy Doire, Nathan Radey and Bobby Allen are performing. A portion of the proceeds from every Full Beard beer purchased at the event will also go to the fundraiser. 

Halloween Craft

Wednesday, Oct. 24, 6 p.m.

Timmins Public Library

A bilingual program for ages five to 12 years. The cost is $6.

Come Jam With Us

Wednesday, Oct. 24, 4 – 9 p.m.

O’Gorman Intermediate Catholic School

A Youth Wellness Hub activity. It’s open to youth ages 12 to 25 years.

Healthy Aging Expo

Thursday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Science Timmins

Hosted by the Porcupine Health Unit and several other partners. It will feature a variety of booths and speakers. Flu vaccines will also be offered to adults 65 years and older.

Halloween Storytime

Thursday, Oct. 25, 10:30 a.m.

Timmins Public Library

For kids ages two to four. The cost is $1. Don’t forget your costumes!
