The OPP reminds motorists that road and weather conditions in the winter should dictate your driving behaviour more than a hurried personal agenda.

During episodes of extreme winter weather, drivers should consider postponing or delaying their road trip until road and weather conditions improve.

Winter driving means travelling a reduced speeds and adherence to the concept that patience and good judgement are essential to reaching your destination safely.
