OPP identify man found dead in Kapuskasing

KAPUSKASING - On February 15, 2016, at approximately 2 p.m., officers of the James Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a sudden death having occurred at a Byng Avenue residence, in the Town of Kapuskasing, Ontario.

The deceased male has been identified as Stephane Cloutier, 40 years of age, of Kapuskasing, Ontario.

On February 17, 2016 a post mortem examination was conducted at the Health Sciences North, Sudbury. No further information with respect to this examination will be released.

The death is currently being treated as suspicious in nature.

The OPP North East Region Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding this death under the direction of Detective Inspector Peter Loree of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
