One new forest fire burns in the region

As of late afternoon on June 11, one new forest fire has been confirmed in the region.

Cochrane fire number 1 is under control at 0.5 of a hectare. It is located northeast of the community of Fort Severn.

The fire hazard is generally high across the northeast.
