Timmins Police Service responded to a call for service early this morning where it is alleged a suspect smeared human excrement onto the front door of a Fifth Avenue residence, stemming from an ongoing dispute amongst neighbors.
Based on preliminary findings at the scene, a suspect was identified and located a short distance from the location of the occurrence and taken into police custody.
Daniel Jolicouer, 53, of Timmins has been arrested and charged with:
- Mischief – Interfere with lawful enjoyment of property contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
- Fail to comply with recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
- Fail to comply with probation order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused person remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
