NDP Calls on Liberals to Come Clean About Kickback Scam

QUEEN’S PARK – In response to new allegations surfacing in media reports, NDP House Leader Gilles Bisson called on the Premier address accusations that Liberal cabinet ministers received perks as part of an alleged kickback scheme.

QUEEN’S PARK – In response to new allegations surfacing in media reports, NDP House Leader Gilles Bisson called on the Premier address accusations that Liberal cabinet ministers received perks as part of an alleged kickback scheme.

“Court documents allege that Liberal cabinet ministers had their homes cleaned for free as part of an elaborate government kickback scheme involving government cleaning contracts,” explained Bisson during question period this morning. “The man behind the kickback scheme gave the OPP a list of 170 names who he said got free perks. We're told that list included cabinet ministers.”

Bisson, MPP for Timmins-James Bay, asked the Premier to address the accusations.

“Which Liberal cabinet ministers had their homes cleaned for free as part of this kickback scheme?” he asked.
