QUEEN’S PARK – Tomorrow afternoon MPPs will debate and vote on a motion introduced by NDP MPP John Vanthof that would create an all-party committee to develop a bear management strategy for Ontario. As the NDP’s Natural Resources Critic, Vanthof introduced the motion in response to growing concerns about nuisance bears in Northern Ontario, and recent cuts to the Ministry of Natural Resources bear management programs.
