KAPUSKASING - On June 9, 2018, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Kapuskasing officers of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a call for service where a vessel was found capsized and a male had been reported missing.
The OPP Aviation Services, Underwater Search and Recovery Unit, Emergency Response Team, Forensic Identification Services and snowmobile, all terrain vehicle, Vessel Enforcement/Education Team assisted with the search and investigation.
On June 10, 2018, the male was located deceased and has been identified as Marco Lebrecque, 50 years of age, from Moonbeam, Ont.
A post mortem examination is expected to be conducted in the upcoming days.
