NEWS RELEASE

THE CITY OF TIMMINS

*************************
This morning, Mayor Black met with representatives of the Lord’s Kitchen Society to proclaim the week of Oct. 9-14 as Lord’s Kitchen Week in the City of Timmins. The society has been filling a need in Timmins for 32 years and running, thanks to a wonderful volunteer base.

Representatives say the need for this service in our community continues to grow every year, and they welcome anyone to join their warm-hearted community for a hot meal every Thursday from 4-5:30 p.m, at the Costello Centre (former Nativity Parish.)

The group will be sending out their fundraising letters to their dedicated group of supporters this week, and graciously accept donations to the following address:

Lord’s Kitchen Society, P.O. Box 72, Timmins, Ont., P4N 7C5.
