Porcupine Ski Runners is giving you a weekly reason to get active and socialize.

Monday nights, the club is hosting a weekly evening snowshoe at 6:30 p.m.

Hosted by Christine Dorion, the event is open to anyone wanting a fun evening of exploring the club’s snowshoe trails in the dark.

All you need to participate are snowshoes and a headlamp or flashlight to walk the trails. Snowshoe rentals are available at the club before 6:15 p.m.

Depending on what trail you take and how fast you walk, it should talk about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.

The cost to access the snowshoe trails is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, $2 for teens and $1 for children. Rentals are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and teens, and $5 for children.

Porcupine Ski Runners is located at 1875 Highway 101 East.

If you have any questions about the weekly snowshoe, text or call Christine Dorion at 705-262-9610, of visit the Facebook event page.
