CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY, TIMMINS UNIT
**************************Men in our community have been given a mission to get their pink on in support of Breast Cancer Research!
All women facing breast cancer have the support of other women.
The men in these women’s lives are also an important source of strength and many would like a way to show their support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
With that in mind, the Canadian Cancer Society is pleased to announce that Aesthetics by Line is partnering with us to host our very 1st ‘maniCURES’ event on Thursday, October 23 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
More than 100 men in our community have been nominated for this mission possible to stop by the salon and have their nails painted pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Although there is no donation required to participate, we are encouraging these men to either fundraise or make a personal donation to the Canadian Cancer Society when they get their pink manicure.
Line Levasseur of Aesthetics by Line has generously offered to provide the staff and supplies to make this event happen!
Several nominees have accepted the mission already and we are hoping that Line and her staff will be extremely busy between 10 and 1 on October 23.
