Game 1 ESCT 2 vs THVS 1- this forces a tie breaker game that will double as City Championship next Wednesday between these teams, winner takes all.

TH started the scoring taking a one nil lead in the first half of the game, Adam Chenier scored on a free kick putting the Blues up. A tie or a win would give Timmins High the NEOAA OFSAA AA soccer berth in May with the hope of qualify for OFSAA. The Blues seemed to be content playing a defensive game hoping to hold on to the win or at least the tie. Sam Delage would tie the game early in the second half, giving the Flammes a glimmer of hope. The teams would exchange chances and scoring opportunities. The Blues' strategy looked like it would work until Joel Rodrigue would put ESCT up with just over 2 minutes remaining in the game.

Game 2 OHS 3 vs RMSS 0- OHS takes the season series with 2 wins and a draw and advance to the NEOAA Championships in May.

The Knights looked ready to play as they carried the play from start to finish. Ryan Basso would score his first of two 6 minutes in converting a cross from Ross Clausi, heading the ball past the RMSS goalie Quentin Ferrari. The Knights could smell blood and kept pressing. Basso would find himself open at the top of the box, picking the corner for a 2-0 OHS lead heading into the second half. The Rebels would press to start the second half but the back line of the Knights anchored by Matt D'Alessandri and Colton Labine would preserve the shut-out for rookie netminder Derrick Vien. OHS would capitalize as RMSS desparately sent players forward. Brandon McKinlay would break out pushing the ball into the corner of the net just minutes after Skyler Cornell was denied by Ferrari as he was sent in on a break away. The game would end 3-0 for the Knights.

Games resume Wednesday night with ESCT taking on RMSS at 6, and OHS battling the Blues at 7:30. Both games at the Complex.
