The Junior and Senior Kindergarten classes at W. Earle Miller Public School recently completed an inquiry on butterflies.
The classes received the butterflies in the larva phase of their life cycle (as caterpillars), then watched them transform into chrysalises and finally butterflies.
Each class explored butterflies through books, a visit to the library, videos and crafts.
Students then said their "good byes" and released the butterflies into nature for the life cycle to continue.
