The Timmins Police Service would like to advise the public about an oversized load escort scheduled to take place on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 beginning at approximately 11 a.m.
The purpose of the escort is to transport a large tree from the area of Churchill Street in Timmins, to the area of Spruce Street South.
The escort route will begin on Churchill Street, and proceed southbound to MacLean Drive, then eastbound on Kirby Street, northbound on Spruce Street South and ending in the area of Spruce Street South and Second Avenue.
The public is advised that this may cause traffic congestion and is reminded to exercise patience to allow for a smooth and safe execution of the transport.
