GUELPH – Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is giving $1 million through its FCC AgriSpirit Fund to 78 community groups across Canada to support rural capital projects.

“At FCC, we are passionate about giving back to the communities where our customers and employees live and work,” said Sophie Perreault, FCC executive vice-president and chief operating officer. “The FCC AgriSpirit Fund is another opportunity for us to partner with organizations that are doing great things in their communities. Congratulations to all the recipients.”

The FCC AgriSpirit Fund awards between $5,000 and $25,000 for community improvement projects, such as hospitals and medical centres, childcare facilities, fire and rescue equipment, playgrounds, food banks, libraries, recreation centres, and community gardens.
