Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Kirkland Lake - Englehart
  • New Liskeard - Temagami

Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

Another significant snowfall on the way Friday night through Saturday.

A Colorado low is expected to trek towards Southern Ontario tonight, with snow spreading across much of the region this evening. Snow will continue overnight and much of Saturday, as well as Saturday night. The snow is not expected to be particularly heavy, but the overall duration of the event is significant, and will give a general snowfall of 15 to 20 centimetres by the time it winds down later Saturday night.

Deteriorating winter travel conditions can be expected with snow-covered roads and reduced visibility in falling snow.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
