The third annual Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History is hitting Hersey Lake this weekend.
The Kinette Club of Timmins is organizing the Sunday, May 27 event aimed at raising money for research, care and advocacy initiatives funded by Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
In Timmins, registration is at 10 a.m., with the walk starting at 11. Afterwards there is an awards ceremony and free barbecue.
To help out, you can sponsor a walker, raise awareness and money on social media, or volunteer through the Kinette Club of Timmins.
