Students and staff from the Catholic Schools in Timmins joined together to raise funds totaling $1,901 for St. Anthony’s Cathedral.

Students expressed their artistic skills and created unique pieces of art that were auctioned off.

The group also raised funds by hosting a spaghetti supper before the art auction.

Daphne Brumwell, principal of St. Paul School, commented: “We are very excited to be hosting an Art Auction and Spaghetti Supper on behalf of St. Anthony’s.  All artwork has been produced by students from OHS, OICS, St. Paul and Sacred Heart Schools, and I can tell you that the artwork that was created is unique and wonderful!”
