A program teaching kids to curl has received a big boost from Goldcorp.
The Timmins company recently donated $1,000 to the Little Rock Bantam Curling Program to purchase safety equipment.
The Little Rock program at the McIntyre Curling Club runs every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. It allows youth between the ages of six and 15 to learn the basics of the sport and make friends.
