2.Carrigan Road
3.Ice Chest Lake Road
4.Jaguar Road (from Sandy Falls to Northerly Limit).
HALF LOAD RESTRICTION ON FOLLOWING ROADS WAS REMOVED ON JUNE 2ND
1.Langmuir Road
2.Kamiskotia Road
3.Dalton Road (from Grant Mill access road southerly limit)
4.Gibson Lake raod (hwy 101 to City Limits).
This year, the half load restrictions were put into effect on April 4th, 2014 for all Municipal Roads under the jurisdiction of the City of Timmins as listed in the Schedule “A” in By-Law No. 2006-6275 (3-pages). Signs are posted on referenced highway/streets. The intention of half-load restriction is to prevent the likelihood of damage to a category of road. It is in offence under the section of 122 of the Highway. It is an offence under Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act to transport loads in excess of five (5) tonnes per axle upon roads where reduced loads are in effect.
