It's officially Rock on the River week

The logo is also lighting up the McIntyre headframe at night

Signs of Rock on the River are popping up around town.

The two-day music festival is set to take over Participark this Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27.

Ahead of the fourth-annual event, the Rock on the River logo is lighting up the McIntyre Headframe and the flag is now being flown at city hall.

Timmins Mayor George Pirie has also proclaimed July 22 - 29 as Rock on the River Week.

The Sheepdogs are headlining Friday's show. Tim Hicks, The Trews, The Road Hammers and Maddie Storvold will also be on stage that night.

Saturday will see Theory, Red Sun Rising, Everlast, I Mother Earth, and Fortune Cookie Club perform.

Tickets are still available and can be bought here. Entry for children under 10 is a cash donation for local charities.
