There are still many openings for today's In Honour blood donor clinic for Noah!  Please come and support this clinic by donating blood in honour of Noah and his family at the St. Dominique Church Hall from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Noah was born with a rare illness called Schwachman-Diamond Syndrome which affects the bone marrow. In May, Noah was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia or AML. As a result, he needs blood transfusions to stay alive. Since May, he has had at least seven platelet transfusions and at least six red blood cell transfusions. These won't be the last.

Currently Noah is at CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) where he has already received two rounds of chemotherapy. In August he will be transferred to Sick Kids in Toronto to receive a stem cell transplant. He is one of the lucky ones who has found a near perfect match with his older brother Zakary.

As a 13-year-old, he has remained positive throughout the ordeal and is grateful for all the people who donate blood. He looks forward to coming home again to be with his dogs, cat, family and friends.
