On the afternoon of the 19th July 2013 the Timmins Police Service and emergency services attended the intersection of Algonquin Blvd. E. and Brunette Road concerning a motor vehicle collision.
The investigation revealed that an eastbound vehicle on Algonquin Blvd. driven by a 23 year old male struck two vehicles before coming to a stop at the intersection.
Two people, one of which included the charged driver were taken to Timmins and District Hospital via ambulance as a result of their injuries.
Police have arrested and charged a 23 year old male with impaired driving cause bodily harm in connection with the collision. The investigation is ongoing and further information will be released at a later date.
